INDIANAPOLIS - Henrietta M. Boggs, 91, died July 16, 2008, in Indianapolis, Indiana where she moved in 2007 to reside with her daughter and son-in-law. She was born in Morris, Illinois to Henry and Sophie Sampson, May 3, 1917. After graduating from Wheatfield High School in Wheatfield, IN, she moved to South Bend, to attend South Bend College of Commerce. She was a professional secretary for The Indiana and Michigan Electric Company and Divisional Secretary for Investors Diversified Services. She was a member of the Indiana Historical Society and volunteered as a Docent for the Oliver Mansion. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan Boggs, Jr. and, daughter Suzanne (Harold) Messenger. She is survived by her daughter Jill (Gus) Sevastianos of Carmel, IN and grandchildren Kristen and Lisa Messenger of Rockville, MD and Danielle, Alicia and Gregory Sevastianos of Carmel, IN.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or their favorite charity.
