Thomas J. Boehnlein

Jan. 21, 1953 - June 4, 2002

Thomas J. Boehnlein, 49, of West 9th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a sudden illness in his residence on Tuesday, June 4, in the Saint Joseph Community Hospital.

Tom was born on Jan. 21, 1953, in Mishawaka, as the son of James C. and Mary L. (Boerjan) Boehnlein.

Tom is survived by his parents, James and Mary Boehnlein of Mishawaka; an uncle, Martin Rosemary Boehnlein of Mishawaka, Margaret Pryblo of Lakeville, Ind., Irene McGann of Mishawaka and Loretta Sipe of Mishawaka; and by several nieces and nephews.

Tom was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Marian High School. He worked for Kelley Farms for the past 10 years.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka. Wake prayers will take place in the funeral home at 3:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Tom's memory be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial and Tributes Program, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
