MISHAWAKA - Mary Louise Boehnlein, 84, of Mishawaka, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in Beverly Living Center, Mishawaka. Mary was born on March 14, 1923, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of the late Louis and Clemence (Van Eeghem) Boerjan. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Boehnlein on June 4, 2002.

On May 4, 1945, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as the former Mary Boerjan, she married James C. Boehnlein, who survives. Mary was a lifetime area resident and a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church. She loved to travel, bowl and fish. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Mary will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends may gather to remember Mary on Friday, Oct. 5, from 3 to 6 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
