Elizabeth A. Boehnlein

Elizabeth A. Boehnlein, 87, formerly of East Fourth Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness on Wednesday, April 24, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind.
Elizabeth was born on Dec. 11, 1914, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of the late Martin and Margaret (Weinkauf) Boehnlein. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by five brothers, Bernard, Joseph, Lawrence, Carl and Al Boehnlein.
She is survived by five sisters, Margaret Prablo of Lakeville, Ind., Loretta Sipe of Mishawaka, Catherine Basham of Warren Robins, Ga., Rita Pfaller of Ridgedale, Fla., Irene (Donald) McGann and Rosemary Boehnlein, both of Mishawaka; and by two brothers, Martin and Jim Boehnlein, both of Mishawaka.
Elizabeth was a registered nurse and head of surgery at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center before she retired in 1979. She was a lifetime area resident. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Harvest House.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, April 26, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Mishawaka.
