Larry D. Blume, 61, of Dittman Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 9:25 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, in Hospice House, South Bend, Ind. Mr. Blume was born in Kokomo, Ind., on Nov. 19, 1939, as the son of the late Harold S. Blume.

On Aug. 16, 1969, in South Bend, he married the former Karen S. Love, who survives. He is also survived by three loving sons, Rick A. (Darlene) Blume of Stephens City, Va., Kevin D. Blume of Mishawaka and Corey G. (Lisa) Blume of South Bend; five grandchildren, Stephen Blume, Dana Blume, Rebecca Blume, Camron Blume and Cody Blume; and by a brother, Richard Blume of Osceola, Ind. Mr. Blume was employed by General Tire in South Bend as a supervisor for 10 years before his illness.

As per Larry's wishes, there will be no services or visitation, with Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth Street, Mishawaka, handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437; or to the charity of donor's choice.
