George W. Blue
George W. Blue, 612 East Wenger street, died at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in the residence after an illness of two months. He was born in
Bunker Hill, Ind., April 1, 1869, and came here 60 years ago from LaPorte, Ind.
In LaPorte on April 20, 1892, he married Adelia Walker, who died Aug. 15,
1925. He was a retired conductor on the New York Central Railroad system.
Surviving are two children Mrs. Pearl A. Mell, of South Bend, and Ralph W. of
Napels, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a brother
Albert C. of Springfield, Minn. Friends may call in the Hay funeral home after
7 p.m. today until funeral services there at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Frank E.
Davison, pastor of First Christian church, will officiate. Interment will be in
City Cemetery.
