John M. Bleich

January 19, 1910 – March 25, 1986

John M. Bleich, 76, formerly of 506 S. Lombardy Drive, died at 11pm Tuesday in Carlyle Nursing Home.  Mr. Bleich retired in 1972 form White Equipment Co. where he was employed for 38 years.

He was born January 19, 1910, in St Paul MN and lived in South Bend the past 65 years, coming from St Paul.  On February 19, 1938, in South Bend, he married Mary Budzinski, who survives.  Also surviving are two sisters, Frances DeCocq and Mary Mondovics, both of South Bend; and three brothers, Michael and Martin Bleich, both of South Bend, and Frank Black of Centreville OH.

A blessing will be given at 9am Friday in St Hedwig’s Catholic Church and a funeral Mass said at 9am Monday.  Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Thursday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 8pm.  Mr. Bleich was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Church.
