Mrs. Balthasar Bleich.
Mrs. Elizabeth Bleich, 415 S. Pine St., died at 9 a.m. today in
St. Joseph's Hospital after a week's illness. She was born in
Austria on Sept. 14, 1882, and had lived in South Bend 72 years,
coming here from there. She was married on Nov. 7, 1905, in South
Bend to Balthasar Bleich, who survives. Also surviving are a son,
George M., of Tucson, Ariz.; a grandchild; a brother, John A.
Tschida, and two sisters, Mrs. Julianna Griman and Mrs. Martha
Kurz, all of South Bend. Friends may calll after 1 p.m. Wednesday
in the Nemeth Funeral Home.

BLEICH - Funeral services for Mrs. Balthasar Bleich, 415 S. Pine
St., who died Tuesday, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's of
the Assumption Catholic Church, Rev. Edwin C. Bauer, C.S.C,
pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The
rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Nemeth
Funeral Home. Mrs. Bleich was a member of the Ladies Society of
St. Mary's Church.

Pallbearers for the services at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of the
Assumption Catholic Church for Mrs. Balthasar Bleich, will be
Louis Kruz, Jr., Carl Griman, Joseph Kotal, Joseph Bleich and
William and Joseph Tschida. Mrs. Bleich, who resided at 415 Pine
St., died Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The
rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Nemeth Funeral
Home.
