Kevin M. Bland, 48, of South Bend, Ind., died on Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, in his home. Kevin was born on April 10, 1955, in South Bend. He was employed as a golf course greenskeeper for the City of South Bend Parks Department.

Surviving are his two sons, Joshua and Justin Bland of South Bend; his parents, Jack and Rita Bland of South Bend; his two brothers, Thomas (Karrie) Bland of Spring Grove, Ill., and Terrence (Beth) Bland of South Bend; and by his two nephews, Marcus and Michael Bland. His brother, Mark Bland, preceded him in death in 1970.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in St. Casimir Church. Friends may call from 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. The family would like to extend a "special thanks" to Ed Wallace and Bernie Crothers.
