SOUTH BEND - Margaret M. Blakeslee, 94, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday in Royalwood Care Center, Torrance. Mrs. Blakeslee was a former parochial school teacher in Park Ridge, Ill., and Lake Forest, Ill. She was born May 19, 1899, in Columbus, Ohio, and came to South Bend in 1965, coming from Dixon, Ill.

On June 21, 1923, in Columbus, as Margaret M. Hartley, she married Harold C. Blakeslee. He died Nov. 19, 1975. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Meyer of South Bend; a son, Harold C. of Redondo, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Ohio State University.
