Elaine Weber Blair, 78, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Feb. 12, 2003. Born in South Bend on June 19, 1924, she was a homemaker and moved to Arizona 14 years ago from Aurora, Ill. She married Robert Lerond Blain on Jan. 17, 1945. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Ann (Robert C.) Benson; and John Weber Blair; grandchildren, Erin Colleen Benson and Mathew Ryan Benson; sister, Nancy Long; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, Ariz. Interment was on Feb. 14, 2003, in Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
