WALKERTON - Jill Anne Blackburn, 35, of Walkerton, passed away Friday morning in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Jill was born October 13, 1972, in Plymouth, IN. On July 21, 2007, in Koontz Lake, IN, she was married to David Blackburn, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kelsey at home; one son, Lane at home; one stepdaughter, Sarah; three stepsons, Daniel, Kyle and Kristopher; her parents, James and Susan Awald of Walkerton and Richard Carmean of Grovertown; four sisters, Terri Ferch of Walkerton, Deb Johnson of Knox, Aimee Masterson of Grovertown and her twin sister, Jane McGaughey of Walkerton; and a brother, Rick Awald of Walkerton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kendra. Jill was a former bus driver for the Oregon-Davis School Corp. of Hamlet.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the Koontz Lake Missionary Church, with Pastor Brian Baughman officiating. Burial will be at Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. CDT in the church until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to any 1st Source Bank for an educational fund for her children, Kelsey and Lane. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, is handling arrangements.
