SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Dr. Louis C. Bixler, 89, of Ironwood Drive, who died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in his home, will be at 1 p.m. today in Cathedral of St. James Episcopal Church. Cremation will take place. Entombment will be at Riverview Mausoleum at a later date.

There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Memorial Hospital.
