Robert H. Biggs
June 10, 1921 - April 18, 2000
Robert H. Biggs, 78, of Homewood Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 2:47 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, in his residence.
Robert was born on June 10, 1921, in Logansport, Ind., to Helen S. (Welker) and Thomas F. Biggs, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by four sisters, Agnes Baker and Marjorie Smith, both of Mishawaka, Betty Ginter of South Bend, Ind., and Joann Frett of Anderson, S.C.; and by many nieces and nephews.
Robert retired from Mishawaka Utilities in 1982 after 22 years of service. Robert was a veteran of World War II in the Army, being discharged in 1945. Robert's memberships include St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, V.F.W. Post 360, Mishawaka, and American Legion Post 1612, Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be said at 3 p.m.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 21, in the funeral home, with Father Robert Yast officiating. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. V.F.W. Post 360 will conduct military rites at the cemetery mausoleum.
