Mrs. Helen Biggs, 61, of 1214 E. Cedar Street, died at 11:05 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. The body was taken to the Hickey Funeral Home.

Friends of Mrs. Helen Biggs, 11214 E. Cedar Street, may call in the Hickey Funeral Home today. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Rev. James Healy C.S.C., pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home today at 8 p.m.. Mrs. Biggs was born in South Bend, Feb. 14, 1893. The former Miss Couch, she was married to Ross J. Biggs in South Bend in 1914. Surviving are five sons, Fred J., Ross Jr., Thomas E., Patrick J. and Donald AA. All of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. C. W. Steinke, South Bend and Mrs. C. F. Risser, Phoenix Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; a brother Fred J. Couch, and two sisters’ Mrs. Jesse J. Crimmins and Mrs. James J. Boland, of all South Bend.
