William F. Bickel, Jr.
William F. Bickel, Jr., 21, formerly of
South Bend, died unexpectedly Sunday in Norwalk, Conn. Born
in South Bend on July 26, 1949, he is survived by his parents Mr.
and Mrs. William F. Bickel, Sr., of Dickinson, Tex.; two
brothers, Michael of Indiana University, Bloomington and Thomas
of San Antonio Trinity University, Tex.; a sister, Sharon of
Dickinson and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Maples
of South Bend. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at
the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m.
Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will
be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. A wake service will
be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Death
was due to a pulmonary edema, according to the death certificate
filed in Connecticut. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today
at the Hickory Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at
7 p.m.
