Mrs. William J. Bickel
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Bickel, 73,
of 59978 Miami Rd., will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St.
Jude’s Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond J. Bolzer, pastor,
officiating. Mrs. Bickel died in her home at 2:45 p.m.
Monday. She was born May 14, 1897, in Benton Harbor and
lived in this area most of her life. As Sarah Murphy,
she was married to William J. Bickel in 1922 in Mishawaka. He
survives. Also surviving are two sons, James R, at home,
and Michael W. of South Bend, and two grandchildren. Friends
may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel,
Mishawaka. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
Mrs. Bickel was a member of St. Jude’s Church. The
rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the funeral chapel.
