Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, for Gerald Leroy Bickel, 2-year-old son of Mr.  and Mrs. Gerald Bickel, 2020 S. William St., who died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday in the intensive care ward of St. Joseph’s Hospital.  The boy died as the result of injuries suffered Sunday when a gas stove fell on him while he was playing in the yard at the rear of his home.  The child was born June 2, 1967, in South Bend.  Surviving besides the parents are five brothers, Charles, Richard, John, Jerry, Gerold, and a sister, Sandra Lee, all at home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Eckstein of South Bend; Mrs. Lillian Bickel of Mishawaka, paternal grandmother, and Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Miholick of South Bend, great-grandparents.  Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel after 7 p.m. Thursday.  Rev. William C. Neece, pastor of the First Church of God, Mishawaka, will officiate at the services and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
