Mrs. Flossie Irene Bickel, 33, 903 Ohio Street, died at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon in St. Anthony Hospital following an illness of three years.
The deceased was born in Baroda, Mich., March 10, 1896, the daughter of Anthony and Jessie Marbeiter. She was married in South Bend to Joseph Bickel.
Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by five children, Dorothy, Lilas, James William and Robert Bickel; two sisters Mrs. Walter Lutz, and Miss Noretta Marbeiter of Michigan City; and three brothers Roland Marteiber of LaPorte; Oren Marbeiter of Tampa, Idaho, and Anthony Marbeiter of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in the Hummer Mortuary, the Rev. A. W. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may vie the body Sunday afternoon and up until the hour of the funeral Monday.
