MISHAWAKA - Albert A. Beutter, 94, of Mishawaka passed
away Thursday morning, August 7, 2008, in St. Paul's Health Care
Center, South Bend. Albert was born March 18, 1914, in Penn
Township, a son of the late Andrew and Sarah (Besinger)
Beutter. He grew up and lived his entire life in Penn Township.
Albert was a farmer and a school bus driver for Penn Harris
Madison Schools. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Albert's favorite pastimes included being outdoors; especially
fishing and spending time in the woods. On February 15, 1941,
Albert married Esther Crofoot and she passed away in 2007.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Beutter.
Albert's surviving family includes a nephew, George (Zuella)
Beutter of South Bend; nieces, Delores Schlarb of
Mishawaka and Lois Yoder of Wakarusa; and several great
nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225
S. Mill Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating.
Following Albert's wishes there will be no visitation and
cremation has taken place. Contributions in Albert's memory may
be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Envelopes will be
available at the church or at the funeral home. Thallemer,
Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West Third Street,
Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements.
