Rosemary Beutel, 76, of Lucinda Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, after a brief illness.

She is survived by her husband, Herman "Herm" Beutel, whom she married on Aug. 2, 1947, in Lakeville, Ind. She is also survived by three daughters, Janice (John) Stitsworth of Parrish, Fla., Sharon (Garry) Fisher of Mishawaka, Ind., and Susan Beutel of South Bend; two sons, Kent (Janice) Beutel of Granger, Ind., and Craig (Pauline) Beutel of South Bend; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Patricia Kelly of Mishawaka.

Mrs. Beutel was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Loretta (Vanderbosch) Brucker; and by a brother, Otto Brucker. Rosemary was a charter member of St. Jude Catholic Church in South Bend. She had been the past-president of Logan Adult Day Services Parents Group. At Logan she served on various boards and numerous volunteer activities.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 4, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 East Ireland Road. A parish Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in St. Jude Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
