SOUTH BEND - Services for Wayne P. Berry, 66, of 22869 Indiana 23, who died at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday in his home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Twin City Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today in Hanley & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or the church.

Mr. Berry retired in 1986 as owner/operator of Berry's TV Sales and Repair. He was born on May 14, 1928, in Butler, Tenn.

On Sept. 5, 1982, in Mountain City, Ind., he married D. Jane Chalker. She survives, with three sons, Larry W. of North Liberty, Jerry L. of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Gary M. of Granger; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Lou Nicks of Indianapolis and Sandra Lee Davidson of Bristol; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Norma Forrester of Butler, Tenn., and Fannie Mae Nelson of Elizabethton, Tenn.; and two brothers, Valentine Berry of Butler, Ind., and Fred Berry of Mishawaka. Mr. Berry was a member of the church.
