Drew Alan Bergland, 52, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, June 15, in his residence.

He was a native of South Bend, Ind., a U.S. Navy veteran, a computer programmer in the banking industry, and a longtime resident of Cleveland.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., today, June 19, in the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, with Dr. Howell Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow at the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland, under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Bergland. He is survived by his wife, Doreen Bergland; his children, Alison Bergland, Joshua Bergland and his wife, Kristin, and Justin Bergland; and by a sister, Suzanne Frederick.
