GRANGER - Margaret G. Berger, 92, passed away Sunday, January 3,
2010, in Fountainview Place of Mishawaka. Margaret was born on
June 2, 1917, in Fremont, Indiana, to George and Sara (Thrasher)
Housman. On June 29, 1941, in Fremont, Margaret married Bruce H.
Berger Jr., who passed away September 28, 2009. She was also
preceded in death by her brother, Sherman Housman. She is
survived by her daughter, Kaye Margaret Brown of South Bend; two
granddaughters, Lisa Ciastko of Valparaiso and Lora (Martin)
Lukaszewski of Mishawaka; one great-granddaughter, Sarah Davis of
Mishawaka; and a sister, Donna Jean Stuart of Avilla, IN.
Margaret retired as a cook from South Bend School City, and owned
a ceramics business where she taught ceramic classes. She was a
former member of Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Thursday, January 7th, in Welsheimer Family Funeral Home
North, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Larry Whitehead officiating.
Entombment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call
from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. In Margaret's memory

Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
