MISHAWAKA - Marguerite A. Bentley, 79, of 722 W. Battell St., died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Ill., after an illness. Mrs. Bentley was born April 13, 1915, in Elwell, Mich., and lived here most of her life.

On March 27, 1932, in Muskegon, Mich., as Marguerite A. Nelson, she married Edward Paul Bentley. He died June 17, 1970. Surviving are a daughter, Joan Hartstein of Mishawaka; two sons, Bob and Jerry, both of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Twin City Baptist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St.
