MISHAWAKA - John "JohnnyBoy" Bentley, 60, of
Colonial Drive, passed away Saturday surrounded by those who love
him. John was born on August 19, 1947, to Dock Bentley and Maxie Hall
Bentley in Seco, KY, both of whom are deceased. John was also
preceded in death by his older brother, Carl "Ed" Webb.
In April 1968 John married Glenda "Sue" Young of
Mishawaka. John is survived by his wife and three children, David
M. Bentley of Mishawaka, Tracie M. Freehling of Mishawaka
and John K. Bentley (Donna) of Mishawaka; along with 10
grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister and best
friend, Anna M. Crist (John) of Mishawaka, and by his
loyal and trusted dog, Patches, who he loved dearly. John enjoyed
Mexican food, country music, woodworking, fishing, flea markets
and silly practical jokes. John should be remembered as a
kindhearted, loving and honest human being, respected as a
father, a husband and as a little brother who will never be
forgotten.
Visitation and memorial service will be
Wednesday, June 11, starting at 10:00 a.m. with the memorial at
11:00 a.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka,
IN. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in South Bend, IN.

6th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544, in John's honor.
