Gerald F. Bentley, 64, of Mishawaka, passed away Monday evening, February 27th, in Hospice House of South Bend. Gerald was born in Mishawaka on February 3, 1942, to the late Edward and Marguerite (Nelson) Bentley. He was employed by the City of South Bend as a custodian. Gerald was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in South Bend.

Gerald is survived by his two sons, Richard Bentley and Gerald Bentley, both of Mishawaka. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Amber and Brandon Bentley; along with one brother, Robert Bentley; and one sister, Joan Harstein, both of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2nd, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, and one hour prior to the services in the church. Funeral services will be held in the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3050 Edison Road, at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3rd, with Rev. Alan Carson Sr. officiating. Burial is to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
