SOUTH BEND - Robert L. Benson, 53, of Glenn Road, died at 1 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Benson was co-owner of B & T Services. He was born April 15, 1942, in South Bend.
On May 5, 1962, in South Bend, he married LeeAnn Larkin. She survives with a daughter, Tracie Fulmer of Mishawaka; a son, Todd of South Bend; four grandchildren; his parents, Katherine and Wilbur Benson of South Bend; four sisters, Virginia Langley of South Bend, Helen Miller of Osceola, Patricia Chodzinski of Mishawaka and Roberta Benson of Aurora, Colo.; and two brothers, Daniel and Wilbur Jr., both of South Bend.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour before services on Wednesday in the funeral home.
