Inez L. Bennett, 85, of St. Genevieve, Mo., formerly of Jackson Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, in St. Genevieve Memorial Hospital, St. Genevieve. Mrs. Bennett was born on Nov. 6, 1914, in Minnesota, and lived in the South Bend area most of her life, moving to St. Genevieve two years ago.

In September 1943, in Pensacola, Fla., as Inez L. Ziel, she married Charles A. Bennett, who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1975. Mrs. Bennett is survived by a daughter, Patricia Inez King of South Bend; a son, John R. MacMillan of St. Genevieve; and by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who she cherished.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, in the HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at WEST IRELAND ROAD/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church, 24535 Roosevelt Road, South Bend, IN 46614. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extend sincere sympathy to the Bennett Family.
