13, 1911 - March 5, 2010SOUTH BEND - Julianne Helen Belunas, 98, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Julianne was born on March 13, 1911, in Inkerman, PA, to Frank and Clementine (Adomauicius) Briedis. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters and brothers, Helen Gilroy, Frances Bradus, Frank Briedis and Vince Brady, and by a daughter, Tina Mc Allister, Feb 21, 2005. On November 27, 1941, in Inkerman, PA, as the former Julianne Brady, she married John Joseph Belunas, who preceded her in death in 1967. Surviving are her children, Marie Locke of South Bend and Audrey (Stephen) Zimmerman of Niles; three grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Morey, Shawn (Kate) Mc Allister and Brian (Kimberley) Zimmerman; four great-grandchildren, Morgain, Katlynn, Julianne and Kyle; a great-great-grandchild, Dakota; a sister, Ann Unwin of South Bend; and a sister-in-law, Loretta Briedis of South Bend. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 9, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Catholic Cathedral, with Rev. Jacob Runyon officiating.
