Theodore A. Bell Sr

May 20, 1896 – July 5, 1966

Theodore A. Bell Sr., 70, of 1914½ Lincoln Way W., died at 2:15pm Tuesday in St Joseph’s Hospital where he had been admitted an hour earlier.  He had been in ill health for several weeks.

Mr. Bell was born in San Francisco CA, May 10, 1896, and came to South Bend from Michigan City in 1959.  He married Evelyn Foster in 1932 and she died in 1942.  He married Mary H. Grey, December 4, 1950, in Michigan City.  He was a professional cook.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Rex. A and Theodore A. Bell Jr, both of Michigan City; a step-daughter, Mrs. Harry Sourlock, of Michigan City and three grandchildren.

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, after 7pm today.  Mrs. Bell was a veteran of both WW I and WW II and was a member of the John Franklin Miller Post 37, American Legion in Michigan City.
