Emma V. Bell, 85, of North Fourth
Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23,
in her residence. She was born May 22, 1911, in Rochester, Ind.,
and had lived in this area all her life.
As Emma Newcomb, she married Clarence
Bell on April 2, 1932, in Mishawaka. He preceded her in death in
January 1963. Emma retired in 1976 from the Bungalow Pie Shop and
had formerly worked at Ball Band. She is survived by two
daughters, Wanda Skinner and Juanita Wegner, both
of Mishawaka; a son, Larry Bell of Mishawaka; six grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Archie Newcomb of South
Bend, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in
Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where
funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ervin Mize at 11 a.m.
Saturday. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
