13, 1945 - Jan. 24, 2010SOUTH BEND - Donna Charlene Bell, 64, of Blue Heron Way, South Bend, passed away at 11:27 a.m. in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center on Sunday, January 24, 2010. Donna was born on July 13, 1945, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She attended and graduated from St. Joseph High School in St. Joseph, Michigan. She worked as a nurses aide at Watervliet Community Hospital, Watervliet, Michigan. Donna leaves behind her loving husband, Robert J. Bell Sr. of South Bend; her two daughters, Deanna (Alex) Galeno of South Bend and Debra (Larry) Crawford of Watervliet, Michigan. She also leaves a sister, Jane (Rudy) Gard of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Donna also leaves behind six stepsons, Robert J. Bell Jr. (Catlan) of Elkhart, William Bell (Laura) of South Carolina, Ronny Bell (Gayle) of Niles, Michigan, James Bell of Mishawaka, David Bell of South Bend and Paul Bell (Tammi) of Mishawaka. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, George M. and Cecile Douglas; her son, Richard Lee Finehout III; and a step-grandson, Matthew Robert Bell. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Donna was loved and adored by all her family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Visitation for Donna will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, January 28, 2010, in the Cobb Funeral Home, 3535 South Michigan Street, South Bend, IN. Funeral services will follow the visitation at noon. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Edison Road, South Bend.
