SOUTH BEND - Irma M. Bella, 75, of Mayflower Road, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Bella was an employee of Studebaker Corp. She was born Jan. 18, 1921, in South Bend.
On March 17, 1942, in South Bend, as Irma Teichman, she married Julius Bella. He survives with two daughters, Susan Bella-Howland and Kathleen A. Liggett, both of Mishawaka; a son, James J. of North Liberty; four grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Bayard of Palm Springs, Fla., Irene Steinhofer of South Bend, and Helen Paskiet of Buchanan; and a brother, Henry Teichman of Buchanan. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
