Florence B. Bella

Florence B. (Wiskotoni) Bella, 84, of South Bend, passed away on October 18, 2006, at 9:43 p.m., in her home, with her loving family at her side. Florence was born on October 23, 1921, in South Bend, to Ignatius and Bertha (Prysbylsky) Wiskotoni. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Bert Wiskotoni.
On January 12, 1946, she married Arthur M. Bella in South Bend. He survives along with their children, Michael (Fern) Bella of Granger, Daniel (Karla) Bella of South Bend, Christine Bella of South Bend, and Marie (Joseph) Briggs of Buchanan, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, and Jeremiah Briggs, Alyssa and Troy Bella, Richard and Ron Olson and Michael Bella; five great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Gertrude Stasiak of Edwardsburg, Mich., Alice Richmond of South Bend, Daniel Wiskotoni of Ruskin, Fla., Joe (Virginia) Wiskotoni of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Norbert Wiskotoni of South Bend, and Raymond Wiskotoni of Elkhart.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family Altar and Rosary Society, and Polish Women's Society. She loved to be with her family and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and baker. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 22, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 23, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
