MISHAWAKA - Rose W. Beehler, 88, of Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday in the nursing home. Mrs. Beehler was born Sept. 13, 1907, in Woodland and was a lifelong area resident.
On June 30, 1929, in Mishawaka, as Rose Stuber, she married Edgar J. Beehler. He died Oct. 20, 1967. Surviving is a sister, Hilda Schlarb of Wakarusa. A daughter, Lucille, died in 1932, and a son, Dean, died May 26, 1952. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Woodland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until services Tuesday in the church. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
