SOUTH BEND - Susan M. Beebe, age 50, of Bayswater Place, South Bend, died at 4:05 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1946, in South Bend.

On Nov. 11, 1967, in South Bend, as Susan McCarthy, she married Jack Beebe. He survives

with two daughters and their husbands, Kimberly ''Kim'' (John) Keen and Melissa ''Missy'' (Christopher) Meersman, both of South Bend. Also surviving are her mother, Mary McCarthy; a granddaughter, Gretchen Marie Keen; a sister, Mary Beth McCarthy; and two brothers, James and Thomas McCarthy, all of South Bend.

Susan was a nurse's aid at Memorial Hospital where she was working toward her nursing degree. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and Vogue Beauty College.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County or Hospice House.
