Tamela Lynne BeCraft, 39, of South Kaley Street in South Bend, found her peace and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2005. Tamela was born December 19, 1965, to Robert and Sylvia BeCraft in South Bend, Indiana. A graduate of Buchanan High School, Tamela went on to become a respiratory therapist in the South Bend and Buchanan, Michigan, area, and later worked as a school bus driver for the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation for the past several years.
Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie Tilly of Edwardsburg, Michigan; her mother and stepfather, Sylvia and Warren Bolton of Niles, Michigan; her sister, Connie Chupp, and her husband, Jeffery of Edwardsburg, Michigan; stepbrother, Warren Bolton Jr., and his wife, Julie of Edwardsburg, Michigan; and a stepsister, Iris Garrison, and her husband, Bob of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also surviving are her grandmother, Elsie Allen of South Bend; and her two grandchildren, Alexis and Anthony Faunce of Edwardsburg, Michigan.
Preceding Tamela in death were her daughter, Salina M. Tilly; her father, Robert BeCraft; and her grandfather, Albert Baltimore. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the 2:00 p.m. service on Saturday, November 12, 2005, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
