Mildred Jane Beaver, 78, of Elder Road, Mishawaka, Ind., beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away at home with her family at 4:10 a.m. on Sunday, December 12, 1999. She was born on October 2, 1921 in Mishawaka to Jay J. and Effie M. Stump, who preceded her in death.

On August 16, 1942, as Mildred Jane Stump, she married Francis Keith Beaver in Mishawaka. She is survived by her husband, Francis, and their children, Jerry K. (Mary Ann) Beaver of South Bend, Ind., Terry W. (Jane) Beaver and Sandra K. (Steve) Beaver - Snyder, both of Mishawaka. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Keith A. Beaver, Ryan F. Beaver, Todd A. Beaver, Scott A. Beaver, Sarah A. Beaver, Jennifer R. Beaver, Brian J. Beaver, Jeffery E. Snyder, Timothy F. Snyder and Melissa K. Snyder; and by her brothers and a sister, Raymond V. (Lola) Stump, Donald V. (Joyce) Stump of Osceola, Ind., Lilia M. (John) Filippone of Mishawaka. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip J. Beaver; and two brothers, Lester and Richard Stump.

Mrs. Beaver was a member of the Willow Creek United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.

Friends will be received from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Willow Creek United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. John Hall and Rev. Warren Banks. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Willow Creek United Methodist Church, Mishawaka, and/or Hospice of St. Joseph County.
