MISHAWAKA - Betty J. Beaver, 68, of East McKinley Avenue, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in her home. Mrs. Beaver was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Corning, Ohio.

On Oct. 15, 1944, in Huntington, Ind., as Betty J. Brinkman, she married Robert B. Beaver. He survives with two daughters, Penny L. Edgerton of Lawrence, Kan., and Kathy L. Takacs of Mishawaka; two sons, Robert A. of South Bend and Charles B. of Terre Haute, Ind.; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Freida Wilson and Helen Faulk, both of Laurelville, Ohio, and Eileen Steele of Houston; and a brother, Ed Brinkman of Corning. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 360 and VFW Children's Home, Eaton Rapids, Mich.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to VFW National Children's Home or Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
