Brother Julian Beaudry, CSC, 89, died at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at Dujarie House after an illness. Brother Julian was born Sept. 28, 1897 in Merrill, Wis. He is survived by several nieces.
He became a novice in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Feb. 9, 1921 and professed his vows June 25, 1922. He served in various capacities in Holy Cross universities and high schools. At the University of Notre Dame he was sacristan and prefect at Brownson Hall. He also served at the University of Portland and St. Edward’s University, Austin, Texas; St. Joseph Farm, Granger; Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Services will be at St. Edward’s University. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Austin. Local arrangements are with Hickey Funeral Home.
