MISHAWAKA - E. Ann Beard, 86, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Beverly Living Center in Mishawaka. Ann was born on January 12, 1921 in Ada, MN to Itha Elmer and Mary Louise (Payne) Doyle.

On November 19, 1949, in South Bend, IN., Ann married Miles G. Beard. Miles preceded Ann in death on March 23, 2006. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded Ann in death. Ann is survived by three daughters, Billie (David Guerin) Clements of Mishawaka, IN, Jo Ellen (Donald) Cornelius of Anaheim, CA and Alice Marie (Robert Dowlut) Beard of Silver Spring, MD; three sons, Jes (Louann) Beard of Chattanooga, TN, Dale Lester Beard who is overseas and Rex (Margaret) Beard of Carmel, IN; 10 grandchildren, Kate Beard, Lora Beard, Alex Beard, Sarah Beard, Erin Clements, Kevin Clements, Stephanie Cornelius, Daniel Cornelius, Joshua Dowlut-Beard and Sabrina Dowlut-Beard; and two great-grandchildren. Ann was a homemaker and was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, her family and baking.

Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka where family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Rev. Ron Bowman will officiate the service. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.
