Helen C. Baum, 95, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, died Friday, June 18. She was born on July 30, 1908, in Plymouth, Ind., to Oron and Laura Spitler. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

On Aug. 15, 1936, in South Bend, Ind., she married George Dale Baum, who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1992. She worked for many years at the Studebaker Corporation as a secretary, and retired in 1970. She was the past president of The Marianne Club of Studebaker, and was a graduate of Plymouth High School.

She is survived by four nieces, Nancy Dillon of South Bend, Janice Greer of Tacoma, Wash., Lori Hanson of San Diego, Calif., and Brenda Hill of California; six great-nieces and nephews; and by nine great-great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, June 21, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
