Laura B.
Baumgartner, 81, of 1310 30th St., South Bend, died
Saturday afternoon in the Byron Health Center, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Baumgartner,
who was a homemaker, was born June 23, 1904, in Crown Point IN.
She lived in South Bend most of her life before moving to Fort
Wayne four years ago. On October 2, 1936, in South Bend,
she married John Louis Baumgartner, who died in 1974. Surviving
are a daughter, Ellamae McCory of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren;
and a sister, Elsie Palm of LaPorte.
Services will be
at 1pm Tuesday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial
will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call form 6 to 8pm
Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be
made to American Heart Association.
