Ida Marie Baughman, 92, residing on Tanglewood Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, in Regency Place of South Bend, Ind. She was born May 17, 1911, in Cando, N.D., as the daughter of David and Florence (Good) Foreman.
On Nov. 23, 1929, in South Bend, she married George Baughman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1966. She was also preceded by seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Baughman is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Richard) DeCraene of Granger, Ind., and Jean (Ben) Stonelake of Broomall, Pa.; and a son, John (Roxanne) Baughman of San Antonio, Texas. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Richard (Margie) DeCraene, Kevin (Shannon) DeCraene, Michael Baughman, Angela (Kyle) Bybee, Patrick Stonelake, Kevin Stonelake, Brian Stonelake and Tim Stonelake; and four great-grandchildren, Brady Baughman, Mia Bybee, Mitchell DeCraene and Brody DeCraene. Mrs. Baughman retired from Gerber Manufacturing Co. where she served as a seamstress.
She was a member of Albright United Methodist Church of Mishawaka. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Dennis Ingle, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family will receive friends Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
