MISHAWAKA - Betty L. Bassier, 80, of Mishawaka, IN, died
Wednesday, April 7th, at 10:10 p.m. at the Saint Joseph Regional
Medical Center in Mishawaka. Betty was born October 28, 1929, in
South Bend, IN, to the late Edmund and Alicia Janicki. On June
13, 1953, she married Lucien Bassier at St. Casimier Catholic
Church in South Bend. He died August 28, 1979. Surviving are one
daughter, Denise (Jeff) Kozlovich of Fishers, IN; two sons, Ron
Bassier and Jim (Peggy) Bassier, both of Mishawaka; two
grandchildren, Jeffrey (Natalina) Kozlovich and Julie Kozlovich;
two step-grandchildren, Amanda (Rob) Anderson and Jerry (Shannon)
Stewart; and four great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Hannah, Jade and
Chiara. Betty retired after 42 years as an operator with Indiana
Bell. She was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church and the
Pioneers Club of America. Visitation for Betty will be today,
April 11th, from 2-6 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th
St., Mishawaka, where the holy Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St.
Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with the Rev. Barry England
officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Church, 511 W. 7th St., Mishawaka, IN 46544. The family would
like to thank all of the doctors and the staff at Saint Joseph
Regional Medical Center for all of the caring and kindness shown
