Mrs. William Bassett     

Mrs. Mollie Bassett, aged 79, of rural route No. 1, died in her home at 11:15 p.m. Monday. She had been ill five months. Born in Kansas Oct. 20, 1864, she lived here most of her live. Her marriage to the late William Bassett took place in June, 1880, in South Bend. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Florence Kline and Mrs. Fannie Smith, both of South Bend. Friends may call in the residence from Wednesday evening until Thursday noon, when the body will be taken to Sumption Prairie Methodist church to lie from 1:30 p.m. until the services there at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Bigler, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie cemetery.
