MISHAWAKA - Dorothy May Bashore, 86, of North Third Street, died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday in Fountainview Place. Mrs. Bashore was born Sept. 25, 1908, in Elkhart County.

On May 25, 1935, in LaPorte, as Dorothy May Watkins, she married Emmett G. Bashore. He died July 13, 1989. Surviving are two sons, Michael G. of Marion, N.C., and Patrick E. of Edwardsburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Rose of Elkhart and Phillis Anders of Covina, Calif.; and a brother, Willis Watkins of Mishawaka. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel Downtown, 202 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
