MISHAWAKA - Catherine Boehnlein Basham, 87, of Warner Robbins,
GA, formerly of Mishawaka, has gone to heaven to meet her Lord
and reunite with her husband. Catherine was one of 16 children
born to Margaret and Martin Boehnlein. As a young woman she
married Russell Basham, who preceded her in death, serving as a
soldier in World
War II. Together they had one son, Russ, who lives
in Georgia and his wife, Jane. Kate has three grandchildren,
Rusty, Katie and Todd. Kate spent many years working for Dodge,
raising her son, and enjoying her time with her siblings and
friends. Kate is survived by two sisters, Irene (Donald) McGann
and Rosemary Boehnlein; by two brothers, James Boehnlein and
Martin Boehnlein; and by a sister-in-law, Marge Boehnlein. She
was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilhelm, Bernard
(Margaret), Lawrence (Ruth), Joseph (Alice) Aloysius and Carl
Boehnlein; her sisters, Marie Boehnlein, Margaret (Matt Pryblo),
Helen-Rita (Jack Pfaller), Loretta (Jerry Sipe) and Elizabeth
Boehnlein; and sisters-in-law, Irene and Mary Boehnlein. Her body
has been cremated. Family and friends may gather for a Rosary in
Kate's memory on Saturday, July 31st, at 11:00 a.m. in Hahn
Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. To leave the family
