Brother Wenceslaus Bartek CSC, 87, of the St. Joseph Farm, Granger, was found dead of natural causes this morning in his residence. He was born on April 12, 1890 in Weston, Neb. He entered the religious community on Sept. 20, 1933 and received his habit on Feb. 1, 1934. He made his final profession of vows on Aug. 16, 1938. He was a groundskeeper at Holy Cross house from 1936 to 1954 and resided at St. Joseph Farm since 1954.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Brothers Canter at Notre Dame, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Chapel of Holy Cross Brothers Center, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Brothers Center.
